Best time of the year, right? Busiest too. Next month marks the 20th anniversary of this little blog! Trying to remember to celebrate the milestone in some small way, even if no one else in the world cares lol. The world has definitely moved on. That's ok. And anyways that's next month. I was talking about how busy this month has been!

Yeah, September is my birthday month and I turned 48 this year. Urg. But we had a nice day, went to Board N Brew for some games. Pretty sure I won all of them.

 Later that week I headed back downtown to visit my good friend Christopher at Tattoo Apothecary, got a tattoo:

That day actually happened to be the 25th anniversary of the day I set off on my Cross-Canada hatch-hiking journey. Another little anniversary that is significant to me. Always thought it would be fun to mark the occasion by hitching a ride to somewhere, even if not quite all the way to Newfoundland. But I think that isn't in the cards in today's world. Oh well. 

Last week I got summoned to jury duty! Or rather, summoned to be in a room with a hundred other people to see if we will get picked to serve on a jury. I was not one of the chosen few! Phew!
