Iron Man is opening today and I want to see it for sure. But what you might not know is the director, Jon Favreau, was slated to direct A Princess of Mars but then wound up doing Iron Man instead. So in an alternate universe, everyone would be lining up to see John Carter, Dejah Thoris and Tars Tarkas thundering across Barsoom today.
