Polar bears, like whales, have a highly insulative layer of blubber, which helps them to maintain body heat in the frigid arctic environment that is their habitat. This layer can be up to four inches thick. In fact, it's so effective that they often overheat when exerting themselves.
So when people ask me if I am getting cold feet, I just laugh. No way.
