We left Pallas at home with her grandparents, and this was definitely the wisest decision we could have made. But that doesn't mean it hasn't been hard. She would have loved the San Diego Zoo. A disproportionate amount of the words she knows are animals (dada means dad and duck and panda; she sorta says yia for lion, na means snake and daboo means puppy. Oddly she has no word for bear) and she sure loves them. Oh well, I took lots of photos for her.
